Angled polish connectors (APCs) minimize back reflectance from laser sources, a critical requirement for applications such as analog video. UniCam APC Connectors, with their 8º angled end-face and factory polish, dramatically reduce reflectance.
UniCam APC Single-Mode Connectors are compatible with any UniCam Connector single- or 2-fiber installation tool, including the new flagship UniCam Pretium™ Tool Kit. The lightweight, handheld installation tool and the high-performance cleaver virtually eliminate human variability from installation, for terminations that are performed right, the first time, every time. The UniCam Pretium Tool Kit can quickly install a UniCam Pretium-Performance Connector in about 45 seconds.
